Pine floor board sanding and staining in Letchworth.

We got called to take a look at these pine floor boards in Letchworth.

When we went round to quote and discuss the desired finish options, our customer said she would prefer a dark finish over the traditional light pine colour. After showing our customer some sample boards she decided that dark oak was the colour she would like.

Day 1 We started the sanding and discovered a few boards had damage from wood worm

So we cut these boards out to be replaced with reclaimed floorboards.

Day 2 We prepped and fine sanded one side ready for the stain colour and 3 coats of lacquer.

Day 3 We moved the sofa over and completed the opposite side with one coat of dark oak stain and 3 coats of floor lacquer.
